V pondělí 17. března jsme oslavili Den svatého Patrika pomocí anglického projektu.
Třída 9.C připravila aktivity spjaté s tímto významným irským svátkem a třída 7.B měla možnost si tyto aktivity vyzkoušet a odnést si z nich zajímavé informace a rozšířit si slovní zásobu. Sedmáci ve dvojicích obcházeli šest stanovišť, které deváťáci vytvořili, a postupně plnili dané úkoly.
A o jaké úkoly přesně šlo? A jak se sedmákům dařilo? To už níže anglicky popisují přímo deváťáci.
1) Match
We prepared a match game. The students matched the pictures and the words (leprechaun, rainbow, gold...). The students did it well and quickly.
2) Scrabble
In our group, they had to arrange individual letters to make words on the board game where they had to get from the START to the FINISH. The 7th-grade students worked well, everything went smoothly. There were no problems on our side.
3) Kahoot
We really loved the work in a team. While we were working on our kahoot, we understood how to do it properly. Also we understood that teamwork is really important. While one was working on our kahoot, remaining two were helping him with questions and incorrect answers. When Saint Patrick's Day started we were very excited for it. Even when we didn't have to do much, we had fun and really enjoyed it.
4) Hangman
We played the game "Hangman." The rules were quite simple - guess the letters, and if you lose, you gradually draw the gallows. All kids were smart, and almost everyone scored the maximum points. After the game ended, everyone seemed to enjoy it and had a great time. We hope they left satisfied, with new knowledge and skills.
5) Running crossword
We had a running crossword - one person from our group had explained the rules to the team from 7B. We gave them the crossword and they had to run to pingpong table on the corridor for questions. They had to read one question, run back to class and wrote the answer into the crossword, and over and over again. There were six questions, and the result was "clover" When the teams from 7B didn't know some answers to a question, we let them translate it to Czech and helped them a little bit. They had six minutes for the whole crossword. Few poeple were bored. But if we saw that some of them they liked it, we were happy we created something that is interesting for them, and we hope they learned something new about St. Patrick's Day.
6) Running quiz
We had a running quiz. First step was to run through obstacle course and solve multiple choice questions (a/b/c) along the way. Also we had a leprechaun that helped with the questions. 7B class was divided into 2 groups, one for each lesson. Most of the first group (1st lesson) weren't so engaged in our activity. The second half was interested a lot more than the first one and it was a lot more fun for us.
Za skvěle odvedenou práci si všichni žáci odnesli zlatou čokoládovou minci.
7.B nám pak následně poskytla psanou zpětnou vazbu, kde vytvořené aktivity a celkovou organizaci projektu chválí. Tímto jim děkujeme a doufáme, že si z této hodiny odnesli nové informace, slovíčka a třeba i inspiraci pro vlastní projekt.
